Deputado Elizeu sugere que o governador recuse a cobrança do “novo DPVAT”

Elizeu Nascimento afirmou que se implantada, a medida seria mais uma das tantas taxas abusivas impostas pelo Governo Federal

Durante sessão ordinária nesta quarta-feira (30) o deputado estadual Elizeu Nascimento (PL), recomendou ao governador Mauro mendes que se posicione contra a cobrança do Seguro Obrigatório para Proteção de Vítimas de Acidentes de Trânsito (SPVAT), mais conhecido como o “o novo DPVAT”. A cobrança foi extinta em 2020 durante a gestão ex-presidente Jair Bolsonaro (PL) e deve ser retomada a partir de 2025 por determinação da Lei Complementar n.º 207, aprovada no Congresso Nacional e sancionada pelo presidente Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva em 16 de maio deste ano.

O deputado disse que a cobrança imposta pelo Governo Federal é abusiva, e que a população já paga muitas impostos. “Indico que o governador Mauro Mendes se posicione contra a cobrança do SPVAT em 2025, conhecido como o novo DPVAT. Durante o governo Bolsonaro tivemos a extinção da cobrança e agora o PT quer novamente implantar mais taxas abusivas para a população. Gostaria que nosso governador abraçasse a causa seguindo o posicionamento dos governadores da direita que recusaram implantar a cobrança.”, afirmou Elizeu.

Até o momento seis governadores da direita se posicionaram contra a medida; Tarcísio de Freitas (Republicanos-SP), Romeu Zema (Novo-MG), Jorginho Mello (PL-SC), Ronaldo Caiado (União-GO), Ibaneis Rocha (MDB-DF) e Ratinho Júnior (PSD-PR).

A proposta sugere que o Detran fique responsável pela taxação por meio da inclusão do tributo junto ao licenciamento do veículo e do IPVA de 2025, repassando a maior parte dos valores para a União.

O SPVAT agirá como um seguro nacional obrigatório, pago por todos os donos de veículos, e será usado para indenizações de danos causados por veículos ou por suas cargas. A nova lei, sancionada pelo governo neste ano, define que o pagamento do seguro será feito uma vez por ano. Os valores serão administrados pela Caixa Econômica Federal e ainda devem ser definidos pelo Conselho Nacional de Seguros Privados (CNSP).
